WHO WE ARE

The Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office, under the leadership of Sheriff Aaron Pitts, is committed to enhancing the quality of life and reducing the criminal fears of all citizens in our community. Located in the heart of Oklahoma, our office serves the 906 square miles of Kingfisher County with dedication, professionalism, and a focus on public safety.

Our Mission

The men and women of the Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office are dedicated to preserving peace, protecting lives, and serving all citizens with fairness and respect. We work cooperatively with the community and other government agencies to create a safe environment, utilizing the authority of the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and Oklahoma state laws. Our goal is to be a catalyst for positive interaction and problem-solving within Kingfisher County.

MEET SHERIFF AARON PITTS

Sheriff Aaron Pitts was elected as Kingfisher County Sheriff in 2024, bringing a deep commitment to public service and a lifelong connection to the community. Born and raised in Hennessey, Sheriff Pitts has called Kingfisher County home his entire life. A husband and father of three, he resides in Kingfisher with his wife, Ariel, who owns Scissortails Dog Salon and Spa in Hennessey
